According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “Over the last three months of 2009, the Conservatives averaged a 7% lead over the Liberals and never found a lead of less than 3%. In the five weeks of surveying we’ve conducted in 2010 that lead appears to have eroded slightly as the Conservatives have averaged a 2% lead over the Liberals. Both of these parties have seen a lot of reversal of trends over the past year and that volatility may well continue, but the narrower gap between them does appear to be a consistent new reality.”
