According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “Canadians are well aware of
the fact that their dollar is basically at par with the U.S. dollar, but the majority say
they will not be changing their purchase intentions as a result. Younger, more affluent Canadians are clearly more likely than others to take advantage of crossborder bargains.”
