Over the latest week, the NDP and Conservatives are in a statistical tie. In this period, the NDP stands at 33%, the Conservatives 30%, the Liberals 20%, the Greens 8% and the BQ 7%.

• In Quebec, the NDP holds a ten point lead. Here, they stand at 39%, to 29% for the BQ, 14% for the Liberals, 10% for the Conservatives, and 6% for the Greens.
• In Ontario, the three major parties are fairly close to each other in voter support. Here, the Conservatives stand at 33%, the NDP 31%, Liberals 27%, and the Greens 7%.

Each week, Harris/Decima interviews just over 1000 Canadians through teleVox, the company’s national telephone omnibus survey. The most recent data were gathered between April 26 and April 30, 2012 for 1,006 completes. A sample of the same size has a margin of error of 3.1% 19 times out of 20. With the exception of the most recent wave, the data points on the graphs represent two week waves, with roughly 2,000 completes per wave, and a margin of error of +/-2.2% 19 times out of 20.
